March 15th, 2008 | Party To End Research For My Master Thesis in Psychology

This text was fully written by a human.
- Yesterday, on World Pi Day, I hosted the final event for my Masters Thesis research, which included evaluations of plasticine sculptures and art inspired by music. I’m deeply grateful to all the distinguished guests who participated.
- Special thanks go to Mr. Michał Krych for his fantastic RPG mission and leading one of the tables. Thanks also to the others who guided RPG missions, including Mrs. Karolina Sołtys and several gents and ladies instrumental in this research.
- Finally, I appreciate the judges who reviewed my work at the party, and I look forward to sharing the test results soon. Additionally, a detailed description of the RPG mission is available under the “Works” tab for anyone interested in exploring it further.
Why Was This Party So Useful?
Yesterday, on World Pi Day, we hosted the final event for my Masters Thesis research. In fact, many distinguished guests attended.
Notably, lots of people agreed to help by evaluating the works created by my subjects—plasticine sculptures on the theme of freedom and art inspired by music. According to Palmer, Schloss, Xu, and Prado-León (2013), people across cultures reliably match colors to music through shared emotional associations. That supports the idea that music can shape visual creative work.
According to Amabile (1982), creativity is best measured with the consensual assessment technique. Independent expert judges rate the works relative to one another. Notably, according to Kaufman, Baer, Cole and Sexton (2008), expert and nonexpert ratings of creativity differ markedly.
Who Helped Me Run the Study?
I hope no one minds if I say thanks personally here.
First, special thanks to Mr. Michał Krych for writing a fantastic RPG mission for this research and leading one of the tables. According to Dyson and colleagues (2016), tabletop role-playing measurably raises players’ creative potential. Thanks also to the following:
Mrs. Karolina Sołtys
and gents:
Radek Chrapkiewicz
Jacek Kopeć
Łukasz Bułka
Kacper Grodecki
for guiding RPG missions in this research,
and also ladies:
Karolina Sołtys
Marysia Fijałkowska
Kasia Molendowska
Zuza (no surname, because we don’t know each other so well :))
and gents:
Tom Michałowski
Leszek Stawikowski
Łukasz Kochańczyk
Michał Gołębiewski
Michał Hapka
Mateusz Nowaczyk
Łukasz Kidziński
and Piotrek Achinger
for being my competent judges (i.e. we had a drink yesterday at the party and something on the paper remained after that :)).
What Happens Next?
Ultimately, thank you very much, and the test results in a week or so.
Meanwhile, under the “Works” tab, I put a description of the mission. Overall, it is really well written, relatively short, perfect material for one afternoon together, maybe someone completely independently wants to use it.
In fact, it will be interesting for the respondents. There, you can also read the original content of this mission along with its detailed philosophical interpretation.
